Traveling comes with unpredictability, but that does not mean our health needs to take a vacation of its own!
In the past two posts (post 1, post 2) we looked at ways we can stay healthy while enjoying time away.
Here are two final strategies to help during your travels:

Focus on Fullness
- Try the 20/20/20 rule. Eat your food over 20 minutes. Leave 20 seconds between bites. Chew each bite ~20 times. Slowing down our pace of eating helps the brain and gut get on the same page about feeling full. We will learn more about this in detail in future posts.

Remind yourself of your new lifestyle
- This is your healthy life now, it is not a diet or program that you take a holiday from. A vacation might have a different routine, but it’s not a break from who you are.
It is possible to find wellness on the go without sacrificing fun. Keep an open mind and make small choices that help you feel your best self.
Remember, it’s all about progress, not perfection.
